1H Sexual Harassment/Assault Response & Prevention (SHARP) Level II

Overview

A SHARP Level II specialist serves in a position requiring certification as either a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator or a SHARP Victim Advocate. Sexual Assault Response Coordinators are normally SFC or higher, while SHARP Victim Advocates are normally SSG or higher, unless an exception to policy is approved.

What the Work Involves

  • Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.
  • Plan, develop, and provide training and staff development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
  • Prepare and maintain records and reports, such as budgets, personnel records, or training manuals.
  • Maintain case history records and prepare reports.
  • Develop and review service plans in consultation with clients and perform follow-ups assessing the quantity and quality of services provided.
