Overview
A Data Systems Engineering Officer leads personnel and organizations, manages enterprise information systems and services, and implements cybersecurity measures on the Department of Defense Information Network. The officer integrates directory, database, email, web application, configuration management, and collaboration services while designing, testing, troubleshooting, virtualizing, and deploying information networks.
