Overview
A data network engineering officer leads, manages, and directs network and information systems activities at the executive level. This designation applies to all Functional Area 26 officers upon promotion to colonel.

What the Work Involves
- Direct daily operations of department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines.
