Talent Acquisition Specialist

Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist (42T) role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities and skills, including developing and executing comprehensive recruitment plans, building relationships with candidates, conducting interviews and assessments, analyzing recruitment data, and applying leadership principles to drive Talent Acquisition operations. The 42T must possess expertise in communication, sales techniques, marketing (to include digital marketing), as well as the ability to interpret and apply data analysis and education principles. Key aspects of the role include aligning the Army brand to Talent Acquisition efforts, analyzing the labor market and competitor value propositions, and applying digital marketing strategies and tools. The 42T must also demonstrate proficiency in leadership, management, and negotiation, and stay current on best practices and trends in Talent Acquisition through ongoing training and development. The 42T Talent Acquisition Specialist supports change management in the organization by leveraging their expertise in recruiting, talent management, and marketing to attract, develop, and retain top talent, ultimately driving cultural transformation and facilitating the adoption of new initiatives and strategies. Overall, the 42T role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and interpersonal skills to attract, retain, and develop top talent and support the Army's talent management and workforce planning efforts.
