Description
The US Army Operational Medicine Officer is for those in charge of planning, establishing, directing, and supervising health delivery activities within military units that include a surgeon, or are within research and development. Duties may also include testing and evaluating activities concerned with medical aspects of military operations. This US Army officer will command a medical unit or installation engaged in furnishing medical care to sick, injured, or wounded personnel.
