Overview
Emergency nurses assess patients, identify nursing diagnoses and outcomes, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate responses to sudden or urgent physical and psychosocial problems. They care for patients of all ages across varied settings, provide measures ranging from minimal care to life support, and handle education, referrals, and discharge planning.
