How to prepare: Compare your education and healthcare administrative experience with hospital or medical-practice management openings; a bachelor's degree is typical, some employers prefer a master's, and experience sometimes substitutes for education. Nursing-home administration requires state licensure, and some other positions require an RN or social-worker license.
