Description
Plans, directs, and coordinates administrative activities in a variety of medical treatment settings. Reviews organization activities and recommends changes in, or better utilization of facilities, services, and staff. Advises the commander on matters pertaining to health care delivery. Is the principal adviser to the commander on matters pertaining to the standards prescribed by the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Health Care Organizations. Duties are performed in MTOE/TDA organizations, both CONUS and OCONUS.
