74D Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Specialist
Overview
The CBRN Specialist conducts reconnaissance, surveillance, decontamination, obscuration, and sensitive site exploitation operations. The specialist operates and performs operator maintenance on assigned CBRN defense and individual protective equipment, while CBRN NCOs in nonchemical units plan, conduct, and evaluate CBRN training and advise company and higher level organizations on CBRN operations and hazards.
