8R Master Resilience Trainer (MRT)

Overview

A Master Resilience Trainer conducts resilience and performance enhancement training for groups of 25 to 30 personnel in units, Army Community Service centers, and the community. The trainer advises commanders and Army Community Service directors on mandatory Comprehensive Soldier Family Fitness compliance requirements and best practices.

What the Work Involves

  • Evaluate the work of staff and volunteers to ensure that programs are of appropriate quality and that resources are used effectively.
  • Prepare and maintain records and reports, such as budgets, personnel records, or training manuals.
  • Plan, organize, and conduct practice sessions.
  • Provide training direction, encouragement, motivation, and nutritional advice to prepare athletes for games, competitive events, or tours.
