Description
Military Justice Subspecialty Officers have refined knowledge to demonstrate the requisite military justice experience and expertise to fill supervisory roles. The purpose of military law is to promote justice, to assist in maintaining good order and discipline in the armed forces, to promote efficiency and effectiveness in the military establishment, and thereby to strengthen the national security of the United States. The increasing complexity of military justice cases, especially sexual assault cases, demands increased proficiency. The Military Justice Subspecialty meets Congressional intent.
