Description
Naval Engineering Specialty Officers are responsible for executing and overseeing the design, construction, acquisition, operation, maintenance, and sustainment of cutters and boats. Highly trained naval engineers are necessary to ensure the Coast Guard is able to seamlessly conduct its missions, maintain and support its assets, and bring new assets into the service through recapitalization projects and programs.
