In the 1987 Rivet Workforce restructuring, portions of 322X2A (Avionic Sensor Systems) merged with 322X2B and 302X1 to form 455X0A (Tactical/Reconnaissance Electronic Sensors). Other portions merged with 322X2C and 404X1 to form 455X0B (Reconnaissance/Electro-optical Sensors).
