F/FB-111 Avionics Test Station and Component
451X6 was the historical F/FB-111 Avionics Test Station and Component career ladder. The February 1991 Air Force survey states that it was created in April 1987 under RIVET WORKFORCE by combining F/FB-111 functions from 326X3A, 326X4A, and 326X5A. Personnel inspected, troubleshot, repaired, modified, programmed, calibrated, and certified avionics components, test stations, support equipment, and electronic warfare components at the intermediate level. The report distinguishes A and B training shreds. It does not establish the family's later retirement or conversion, so no successor or effective transition dates are asserted.
