Heavy-construction and bridge-carpenter positions convert to combat construction specialist MOS 3729. The 16 position-level source assertion(s) are collapsed into this one canonical predecessor event, preserving first-source successor order. Personnel MOS conversion is effective 1 February 1950; the appendix's T/O&E position amendments took effect 7 November 1949. The predecessor remains in the SSN namespace; successors are numeric MOS codes.
