Foreman, construction
Conversion of incumbents’ primary or potential-primary MOS took effect on 1 February 1950. The corresponding changes to authorized positions took effect earlier, on 7 November 1949.
- These conversions apply to the listed positions; the regulation does not establish Army-wide abolition of SSN 0059.
Source extraction notes
The instrument prints no field-wide rescinded-code list; only its explicit appendix T/O&E position conversions are asserted here. Leadership level controls the result: foreman, reconnaissance, operations, first-sergeant, platoon, squad/section-leader and related senior positions convert to 1729; assistant foreman, squad-leader-assistant, or section-leader-assistant positions convert to 3729. The 50 position-level source assertion(s) are collapsed into this one canonical predecessor event, preserving first-source successor order. Personnel MOS conversion is effective 1 February 1950; the appendix's T/O&E position amendments took effect 7 November 1949. The predecessor remains in the SSN namespace; successors are numeric MOS codes.
