Personnel conversion took effect on 1 March 1950 and had to be completed by 31 March 1950. Changes to authorized positions took effect earlier, on 5 December 1949.
- The old code alone does not establish which of the four successors applied to a particular soldier.

Paragraph 4 restricts this SSN only in Finance Career Field use; it is not rescinded Army-wide. Paragraph 4 limits this conversion to typist-clerk use in disbursing, audit, or fiscal work and prints the ordered possible set 1268, 1390, 1622, and 4624. The appendix mostly instantiates 4624, with one source-visible cashier position on printed p. 19 converting to 1622. The 43 position-level source assertion(s) are collapsed into this one canonical predecessor event, preserving first-source successor order. Personnel conversion is effective 1 March 1950; the appendix's position-authorizations changed on 5 December 1949. The predecessor remains in the SSN namespace; successors are numeric MOS codes.
