Motion Picture or TV Writer
Army officers with MOS 8521 wrote scripts for training films and other military motion pictures. The 1943 Army manual called the specialty Scenario Writer. The DMDC crosswalk lists it as Motion Picture or TV Writer and records September 1975 as its obsolete-status month. That record does not establish a personnel-conversion date or successor code. Navy code 8521 refers to a different role, Reconnaissance Attack Navigator.
