1 October 2018 was the scheduled active-duty-component batch date for changes in the Marine Corps Total Force System (MCTFS), not a universal individual qualification or retraining date.

  • Reserve retraining for PSMRP, Active Reserve and SMCR personnel was required as applicable for MOS conversion, subject to available funds.
  • For Individual Mobilization Augmentees, Individual Ready Reservists and Standby Reservists, appropriate service record entries were directed using the headquarters conversion action as authority.
  • Formal schools were to continue awarding current MOSs until a MARADMIN directed implementation of the new conversions.
