1 October 2018 was the scheduled active-duty-component batch date for changes in the Marine Corps Total Force System (MCTFS), not a universal individual qualification or retraining date.
- Reserve retraining for PSMRP, Active Reserve and Selected Marine Corps Reserve personnel was required as needed for conversion and subject to available funds.
- Individual Mobilization Augmentees, Individual Ready Reservists and Standby Reservists required appropriate service record book entries using the headquarters conversion action as authority.
- Formal schools were to continue awarding current MOSs until a MARADMIN directed implementation of the new conversions.
