3102 Distribution Management Officer
Overview
A Distribution Management Officer provides transportation services for cargo, passengers, personal property, and unit moves within an assigned area while ensuring compliance with governing laws, directives, systems, programs, and regulations. The officer directs and evaluates traffic management and unit movement, manages transportation procurement and payment processes, acts as a contracting officer representative, advises commanders, and provides technical knowledge of automated information systems that deliver in-transit visibility.
