Overview
The Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps assists and advises the CMC on matters involving enlisted personnel. This senior enlisted Marine serves on the enlisted performance and permanent uniform boards, joins visits and inspections involving enlisted personnel, assists staff agencies when directed, and represents the CMC at the Staff Noncommissioned Officers symposium.

What the Work Involves
- Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
