Description

An Unrestricted Line Officer who is a Special Operations officer by virtue of training in the EOD, DIV/ SAL, and EOM functional areas. EOD designator applies to officers qualifying through formal training and practical experience in Explosive Ordnance Disposal and are experts in explosives, diving, and parachuting. EOD officers share the task of rendering safe and disposing of explosive material in a variety of peacetime and combat enviromements.
