Overview
Staff Corps medical specialty officers work as physicians who prevent, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries and diseases. They may provide primary and preventive care to Marines and Sailors in operational units, refer patients to specialists, or practice in a medical specialty or subspecialty.
