Overview
A Surface Engineering and Repair Limited Duty Officer plans, administers, and supervises the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of surface ship engineering equipment. The officer manages propulsion, electrical and auxiliary systems, hull and structural work, damage control procedures, ship alterations, training, quality assurance, and repair facility operations.

What the Work Involves
- Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
