Overview

An LCAC Operator operates Landing Craft Air Cushion vehicles during amphibious assault and training operations to and from LHAs, LHDs, LPDs, and LSDs and across surf and beach interfaces. This operator applies amphibious assault tactics, navigation, rules of the road, and radio and visual communication procedures while supervising the LCAC crew.
