Overview
A Basic Combat Unit Member applies training in land navigation, ground assault, entrance control point procedures, quick reaction force tactics, and forward operating base operations. This member is qualified with the M16 and M9, holds an HMMWV license, can defend against a level one threat, and has knowledge of foreign weapons systems, detainee operations standards, and combat lifesaving.
