Naval Special Warfare (NSW) High Risk Instructor, Special Warfare Community

Description

Directs teaching and learning activities in the various formalized Navy high risk training environments. Delivers training material, administers tests, counsels students on academic problems, documents academic performance, evaluates training and performs curriculum maintenance tasks to ensure validated formalized training requirements are executed. Role models professionalism and ethical decision making. Relates historical knowledge of NSW and builds a culture of heritage. Relates warrior toughness topics and foundational principles of psychology and neuroscience to stress, conformity, motivation and neuroplasticity in relation to high-risk training. Understands regulations and documentation required for high-risk training utilizing approved curriculum to include Evolution Brief Sheets (EBS), Emergency Action Plans (EAP), and Operational Risk Management (ORM).
