Command Climate Specialist
A Navy Enlisted Classification: a skill designation sailors hold in addition to their rating.
Description
Serves as the Navy's trained experts on Military Equal Opportunity (MEO) issues and policies to commanders, generally at the Echelon II and III staffs, Navy Personnel Command staff, Chief of Naval Education and Training staff, Navy Inspector General staff, Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute staff, and various overseas and afloat commands. Provides briefings on all aspects of MEO; facilitates various seminars and workshops; conducts MEO portion of ISIC inspections of subordinate prohibited discrimination and harassment complaints; provides guidance and training to Command Managed Equal Opportunity (CMEO) Managers; and participates in MEO meetings, conferences and seminars.
