Naval Culture Workshop Facilitator

A Navy Enlisted Classification: a skill designation sailors hold in addition to their rating.

Description

Identifies safety hazards and safety concerns via facilitation techniques to help Commanding Officers determine whether their own perception of command safety culture is accurate. Provides deeper understanding of known or suspected concerns, hazards or risks to operational excellence in warfighting, particularly when used in conjunction with other approved Navy Safety Management and Climate Tools. This NEC code will ensure those personnel that hold the qualification are competent and skilled in culture workshop facilitation, knowledgeable on the effects of negative command culture, and proficient in their ability to assimilate crew comments and associated data in order to provide a comprehensive report to COs.
