Overview
A Chief of the Boat advises the Commanding Officer on situations, procedures, and practices that affect the welfare, morale, job satisfaction, and utilization of enlisted members. The Chief of the Boat reports directly to the Commanding Officer and serves as the Executive Officer's administrative assistant while supervising certain activities that affect the crew as a whole.

What the Work Involves
