AVCM Master Chief Avionics Technician
Overview
A Master Chief Avionics Technician plans and supervises maintenance of aircraft electrical and instrument systems, batteries, lighting, controls, warning systems, flight stabilization, compasses, and inertial navigation systems. They oversee aircraft electronics such as computers, communications, radar, navigation, sensors, fiber optics, infrared systems, wiring, weapons, lasers, electronic warfare, data links, fire control, and tactical displays, along with component repair and test equipment calibration.
