Master Network Analyst

Description
Leads basic network analysts and conducts intelligence-driven hunt operations on specified key terrain; to counter and clear adversary activity from specified key terrain, in coordination with the supported Commander; enable network hardening of specified key terrain from threat-specific unauthorized activities by reducing the attack surface of a system in order to increase the difficulty of system access and exploitation; and assess effectiveness of response operations, and the risk (current and future) to specified key terrain. Ensures correct identification of key terrain cyber, while detecting, defending, recovering, and eradicating enemy network threat activity. Analyzes specific advanced and persistent threat-based intrusions. Leads gap and malware analysis, forensic analysis and develops appropriate active defense plans to project cyberspace power, enable hardening, perform clear, and assess functions in support of real-world operations and return to steady state operations. Recommends actions to senior leadership on the coordinated pursuit of cyber advisories as authorized to mitigate and counter the adversary of specified key terrain through technical means while informing follow-on Cyberspace Operations. Leads and performs analysis to eradicate adversaries planning or attempting to target protected and contested cyberspace domains deemed as critical assets on-net from all sources to implement actionable countermeasures.
