Description
Track service member’s completion of Radiation Health Technician (RHT) “C” School and Basic Enlisted Submarine School (BESS). Upon completion of both requirements, the JSHM will be qualified to assist the Submarine Independent Duty Corpsman (IDC) with medical and radiation health programs onboard SSN, SSGN, and SSBN. The JSHM will go to a submarine, complete their sea tour, then choose shore duty orders. Post shore duty orders, it is expected that the JSHM will apply to attend Submarine IDC school.
