Computed Tomography (CT) Technician

A Navy Enlisted Classification: a skill designation sailors hold in addition to their rating.

Description

CT Technician NEC identifies members who have completed advanced competencies in diagnostic imaging practices, radiation safety, patient care, equipment management and can perform CT scans. This signifies that the CT tech has completed all requirements to perform CT scans. Eligibility is based on completing the CT PQS and the ARRT CT registry certification. This NEC supports operational readiness by equipping personnel to provide essential diagnostic capabilities across medical treatment facilities (MTFs) and deployable platforms.
