Overview
A Pharmacy Technician prepares, compounds, and dispenses prescribed medicines and calculates outpatient and intravenous doses based on weight or age. They procure, store, and issue pharmaceutical supplies, maintain pharmacy records and reports, research alternatives for recalled or backordered medications, and perform additional medical supply duties aboard ships.
