Overview
Deep Sea Diving Independent Duty Corpsmen provide health care independently of a medical officer at isolated duty stations and diagnose, treat, and oversee care for diving and hyperbaric illnesses and injuries. They perform diagnostic, laboratory, nursing, minor surgical, routine, and emergency procedures while managing readiness, medical planning, logistics, case management, and industrial hygiene surveillance programs.

What the Work Involves
