Overview
An emergency medical technician provides out of hospital care, stabilization, and safe transportation for patients ranging from routine transports to life threatening emergencies. The technician delivers Basic Life Support, Prehospital Trauma Life Support, and Tier III Tactical Combat Casualty Care while administering approved protocol medications and using ambulance equipment and patient movement techniques.
