Overview
An emergency medical technician paramedic provides advanced emergency care and transportation for critical and emergent patients as part of an EMS response team under medical oversight. The paramedic delivers Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support, Prehospital Trauma Life Support, and Tier IV Tactical Combat Casualty Care using basic and advanced ambulance equipment, approved protocol medications, and patient movement techniques.
