Description

<strong>Health Care Administrators</strong> develop, monitor and coordinate execution of health service administration programs, systems and health service resources. Assess effectiveness of health service activities and systems. <br /> <strong>Medical Facilities Liaison Officers</strong> represent the Surgeon General on matters related to construction of Naval medical treatment facilities. Establish equipment requirements for new facilities. Participate in final acceptance inspections. Develop maintenance manuals and establishes preventive maintenance schedules and systems. <br /> <strong>Plans, Operations and Medical Intelligence</strong> plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate medical and dental readiness programs, and support for current and contingency operations and mobilization. Develop projected requirements (personnel, facility, equipment, and material) for medical and dental services in support of operational and contingency plans. Develop and incorporate medical intelligence in support of operational and contingency plans. <br /> <strong>Medical Logistics</strong> direct or assist in the direction of activities concerned with the preparation, review and implementation of medical logistic plans. Determine priorities and controls allocation of critical items. <br /> <strong>Patient Administrators</strong> provide for and coordinate all administrative matters related to the treatment and disposition of patients. Ensure the proper processing of patient records and medical boards. Ensure proper management of the Decedent Affairs Program. Establish a mechanism to collect and report statistical data. Perform the functions of personnel officer for active duty military patients.
