RP Religious Program Specialist
Overview
Religious Program Specialists support the Professional Naval Chaplaincy and help provide and facilitate religious ministry for Navy and Marine Corps personnel and their families of all faith groups. They advise leaders on program planning and execution, collect and analyze Command Religious Program data, and provide technical expertise on force protection requirements for Religious Ministry Teams.

What the Work Involves
- Develop or direct study courses or religious education programs within congregations.
- Identify and recruit potential volunteer workers.
- Schedule special events, such as camps, conferences, meetings, seminars, or retreats.
- Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders, and address complaints.
- Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer.
