Overview
Assistant navigator qualification card personnel track each member’s completion of the required SSN, SSGN, or SSBN assistant navigator qualification card. They certify and train personnel in lookout duties, periscope operation, radar contact detection and reporting, contact management, collision avoidance, port entry planning, and piloting, strait transit, and voyage planning briefs.
