Description
<strong>Undersea Medical Officers (16U0) </strong>serve in clinical roles at teaching institutions, research commands, and primarily with operational units across the spectrum of undersea warfare. This includes submarine squadrons and groups, EOD, diving, and Special Warfare commands. They provide occupational and preventative health to their sailors, treat diving-related injuries, advise commanders on medical risks and medical planning, and subspecialist expertise in diving and hyperbaric medicine
