Overview
LCS 1 Freedom Variant Gunner's Mates teach basic marksmanship ashore and afloat, covering firearms safety, small arms mechanics, qualification firing, range operations, records, and reports. They maintain small arms, train crew served weapons operators and security personnel, conduct antiterrorism exercises and drills, certify personnel on nonlethal weapons, and support readiness and vulnerability assessments.

What the Work Involves
- Lock doors and gates of entrances and exits to secure buildings.
