131A Field Artillery Technician
Overview
Field Artillery Technicians lead sections or platoons that operate and maintain field artillery radars to locate targets and transmit target and counterfire data to artillery units. They coordinate radar personnel, supervise equipment movement and emplacement, interpret technical data, inspect repairs, correct malfunctions, review maintenance records, and manage requisitions for tools, parts, supplies, publications, and equipment.
Minimum clearance: Secret at entry, TS/SCI to maintain
