Description

Cyber Warfare Technicians supervise and manage the execution of Defensive Cyberspace Operations Offensive Cyberspace Operations; Cyberspace Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance; and CEMA Operational Preparation of the Environment. Electronic Warfare (EW) Technicians plan, coordinate, and assess electronic attack, electronic protection, and EW support requirements. Both technicians direct, plan, administer, manage, and integrate actions in support of cyberspace and EW operations. They lead personnel and sections and manage the training of personnel on the planning, administrating, managing, maintaining, integrating, and operating in specified operational environment. They develop policy recommendations and provide technical guidance and advice to commanders and staffs on the management and operation of Army, Joint, intergovernmental, interagency, and multinational implications and applications of cyberspace and EW operations. They provide technical expertise to integrate CEMA with war fighting functions. Cyber Technicians must understand relationships, teamwork, and interpersonal dynamics, and have the ability to integrate these concepts to achieve effects in cyberspace and the electromagnetic spectrum. They must be the consummate professional; self-motivated and self-disciplined; and live the Army values. Cyber Technicians must also possess the ability to build concise products.
