Civil Reconnaissance Sergeant (CR SGT)

Description

The Civil Reconnaissance Sergeant serves as a member of a Civil Affairs unit that executes Civil Affairs missions in support of national security objectives.  The Civil Reconnaissance Sergeant conducts civil network engagement, civil information evaluation, support to civil administration, and transitional military authority to enable situational understanding, targeting, information operations, freedom of maneuver, and stability in order to shape the operational environment, create effects in the civil component, consolidate gains, maintain operating tempo, and preserve combat power.
