How to prepare: Assemble packing and service records for FAA review, documenting at least 20 parachutes packed for each requested type under an appropriately rated certificated or military rigger. The special military senior-rigger route requires a regulations written test, satisfactory evidence of qualifying military membership or employment or honorable release within the preceding 12 months, and military-rigger service currently or within the preceding 12 months.
