The January 1993 OSR states the Rivet Workforce merger of 423X0 (Aircraft Electrical Systems) and 423X1 (Aircraft Environmental Systems) in 1989 produced three electrical and environmental ladders (452X5 tactical, plus 454X5 and 454X6); a June 1992 U&TW consolidated all three into a single 452X5 effective April 1993, which converted to 2A6X6 on 31 October 1993.
