Tactical Remote Sensor System (TRSS) Maintainer
October 1, 2026 is the scheduled date for the active-component Marine Corps Total Force System batch change under paragraph 4001.1b, not a retraining completion deadline.
- Reserve retraining, as required, covers Prior Service MOS Retraining Program, Active Reserve and Selected Marine Corps Reserve Marines, subject to available funds. For Individual Mobilization Augmentees, Individual Ready Reservists and Standby Reservists, service-record entries instead use the headquarters conversion action shown on the unit's Diary Feedback Report as authority.
- Formal schools continue awarding current MOSs until a MARADMIN directs implementation of the conversions.
Source extraction notes
New title: Sensor Technician. NAVMC 1200.1M (FY27) paragraph 4001.1b schedules the active-duty-component MCTFS batch for 2026-10-01. Paragraph 4001.5 separately addresses Reserve retraining, subject to available funds for the specified groups, and records for Individual Mobilization Augmentees, Individual Ready Reservists and Standby Reservists. Paragraph 4002.3 keeps formal-school MOS awards unchanged until MARADMIN implementation direction. The scheduled batch date is not proof of an individual's qualification, retraining or record-update completion.
