Parachute Rigger

In 1964, Parachute Rigger (PR) was combined with AD, AM, and AZ at pay grade E-9 to form Master Chief Aircraft Maintenanceman (AFCM). PR was restored as a separate rating at E-9 in 1968.

The history gives only the years 1964 for the combination and 1968 for the restoration, with no month or day for either change.
